Anthony (Tony) Maranto has over 30 years of experience as an educator, researcher, and manager for a variety of institutions. He has served as a senior science consultant and program manager for numerous clients at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr. Maranto also provided scientific and program support to numerous organizations across the Department of Defense where he oversaw research, management, and policy projects related to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) defense; environmental compliance and health; natural and cultural resource management; land use management; and pollution prevention technologies. Dr. Maranto received a dual Bachelors degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology; his Masters degree in Environmental Science (with a focus on Environmental Health); and his Ph.D. in Environmental Science (with a focus on Environmental Chemistry). He has authored or co-authored over 50 publications and presentations on numerous topics including carcinogenic risk assessment, environmental management, radioecology, health physics, data quality control, and neurological receptor modeling. In his role as Lynker’s VP of Strategic Pursuits, Dr. Maranto focuses on expanding Lynker’s capabilities and services, supporting solution development, building customer and teaming relationships, and leading capture management for company’s growth and stability.
