Brittney Wilkison

Brittney Wilkison is an experienced Sign Language Interpreter with a professional background spanning several years in educational settings. Currently serving at Lyon County School District since October 2020, Brittney previously worked as a Sign Language Interpreter at Douglas County School District from August 2018 to September 2020, and at Storey County School District from June 2016 to January 2018. Brittney's career began at Lyon County School District in a multifaceted role that included paraprofessional duties, sign language interpreting, and substitute teaching from September 2014 to August 2016. Brittney is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Sign Language Interpretation and Translation at William Woods University, expected to complete in 2024, and holds an Associate of Science in Deaf Studies from Western Nevada College, earned in 2020.
