Bridgette Johnson

Bridgette Johnson, SHRM-CP, has a diverse and extensive work experience. Bridgette is currently serving as the Corporate Vice President of Human Resources at M-D Building Products, where they collaborate with the Strategic Business Unit Presidents and HR Business Partners to design and implement people programs that enhance the corporate culture and drive talent identification and development. Bridgette also leads the payroll and benefits strategy to support recruitment and retention initiatives.

Before joining M-D Building Products, Bridgette was the Chief Operating Officer at Daily Living Centers of Oklahoma. In this role, they oversaw diverse business operations, demonstrating strong people skills and business acumen. Prior to that, they were the Director of Operations and Human Resources, responsible for managing the day-to-day operational and HR functions of four Daily Living Centers.

Bridgette has also served as the HR Manager: Corporate Recruiting at CFS Brands, where they independently managed the search and selection process for various positions and engaged with business partners to achieve staffing goals. At Oklahoma City Community College, they held the position of Director of Employee Relations, Engagement, and Development, where they played a critical role in managing employment areas, coaching leaders, and creating a culture of engagement and retention.

Early in their career, Bridgette gained experience at Hobby Lobby, serving as the Administrative Director, Personnel & Recruiting Manager, and Office Coordinator. Bridgette also worked as an Assistant to the TCCC Director at Ministries Of Jesus, providing intake and administrative support for the Transformation Christian Counseling Center.

Bridgette Johnson, SHRM-CP, completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Organizational Communication at Arizona State University from 1987 to 1991. Prior to that, they attended the University of Arizona in 1986-1987. Bridgette also holds a certification in SHRM-CP, obtained from SHRM in March 2014.
