David Robertson has extensive work experience in the field of sales engineering and consulting, primarily focused on information management solutions. David is currently serving as the Director of Sales Engineering, EMEA at M-Files Corporation since January 2023. In this role, they are responsible for translating information management problems into solutions for M-Files customers across the EMEA region. Prior to this, from January 2021 to January 2023, they held the position of Director of Sales Engineering, Western Europe at M-Files, where they performed similar responsibilities but focused on customers in Western Europe. Furthermore, from April 2019 to January 2021, they worked as the UK Sales Engineering Manager at M-Files, specializing in offering information management solutions to M-Files customers in the UK.
Before joining M-Files, David worked at Capgemini as an ECM Consultant from May 2012 to November 2016, where they played a key role in implementing case management systems and document management systems for various clients. David was also an OpenText ECM Consultant and Lead Developer for a health sector client during their tenure at Capgemini.
Prior to Capgemini, David worked at Logica from October 2009 to May 2012, initially as an Analyst Programmer and later as a Programme Coordinator. In the role of an OpenText Livelink developer, they contributed to the development of a case management system based on an Enterprise Content Management platform. As a Transformation Program Coordinator, they worked on projects to define Logica's service portfolio and reported to executive directors.
David's career began with an internship at Intel Corporation in July 2007 and lasted until August 2008. During this internship, they served as an Intern Project Manager and Business Analyst, overseeing several core IT infrastructure changes, leading transnational and multicultural development teams, and managing outsourcing engagements.
David Robertson attended Loughborough University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computing and Management.
