Tong Min (Tim) Kim

Tong Min (Tim) Kim's work experience includes various roles in the field of data science and finance. Tong Min (Tim) started their career as an Equity Research Intern at M Science in February 2018 and later became a TMT Research Associate. In January 2020, they were promoted to Senior Research Associate. Kim then worked as a Data Scientist before being promoted to Lead Data Scientist in August 2021 at M Science.

Prior to joining M Science, Kim served as a Senior Analyst and later as a Junior Analyst at the University of Oregon Investment Group from October 2017 to June 2018. Tong Min (Tim) also worked as an Analyst at the Emerging Markets Fund from August 2017 to June 2018.

Kim has experience in various other roles as well. Tong Min (Tim) was a Member of Beta Gamma Sigma from November 2016 to June 2018. Tong Min (Tim) worked as a Security Assistant at the University of Oregon Police Department from September 2016 to February 2018, and as a Customer Assistant at the University of Oregon Department of Parking and Transportation from September 2016 to September 2017.

Additionally, Kim served in the Republic of Korea Army as an Administrative Specialist (Ammunition Management) from May 2014 to February 2016. In this role, they had daily tasks involving Word and Excel, and worked in a fast-paced environment.

Tim Kim attended Kookmin University from 2010 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. During their time there, they participated in an Exchange Program at Waseda University from 2013 to 2014, focusing on the School of International Liberal Studies (SILS). Subsequently, from 2012 to 2017, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance at the University of Oregon. Finally, in 2017 and 2018, Tim Kim furthered their education at the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance.
