Mony Hassid

Mony is a Managing Partner at M12, where he leads the fund’s activities in EMEA. He has over 20 years of experience in venture capital, business development, research and development, and management. Previously, he was Managing Director at Qualcomm Ventures and at Motorola Ventures in Israel. He grew both of these offices from the ground up, developing them into the most established corporate VCs of the region.

Mony has invested in 36 startups to date and currently serves on 12 boards in areas including applied AI, business applications, cybersecurity, data center and cloud, devops, cellular and wireless, and semiconductors. He has shepherded 15 meaningful exits to date. He specializes in finding deep-tech companies with highly disciplined founding teams and uses his diverse background to assist entrepreneurs in building resilient and agile businesses. Mony earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering as well as his MBA from Tel Aviv University, all with a cum laude distinction.
