Martin Jančo has a diverse range of work experience. Martin is currently the CEO of M2M Solutions, s.r.o., a position they have held since March 2015. In addition, they serve as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Žilina starting from March 2023. Martin is also a Member of the Council of the Government of the Slovak Republic for Science, Technology and Innovation since November 2022.
In their previous roles, Martin Jančo served as a Member of the Research Agency Council at the Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of the Slovak Republic starting from September 2021. Martin was the Chairman of the R&D Committee in the Automotive Industry Association of the Slovak Republic from September 2019, and a member of the R&D Committee from August 2016 to August 2019.
Martin also worked at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic for Investments and Informatization as a Member of the Council of the Government of the Slovak Republic for Science, Technology, and Innovation from March 2020 to July 2022.
Prior to that, they were employed by REC Global, where they held various positions, including Business Development Manager, Founder, Branch Office Director, and Managing Director from September 2010 to March 2015. Martin also served as the COO and Chairman of the Business Strategy Board during their time at REC Global.
Before joining REC Global, Martin Jančo worked at Siemens as a Department Leader from April 2003 to September 2010. Martin was responsible for administration, planning, forecasting, coordination, communication, motivation, recruiting, acquisitions, customer contact, and project management support for multiple projects.
Martin began their career as an IT Developer and Project Leader at AciSoft s.r.o. from 2000 to 2003 and as an IT Developer at ELANOR s.r.o. in 1999.
Martin Jančo attended the University of Zilina from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a degree of Ing. in the field of Programs facility of computers, Optimalization, and Information technologies. There is also a record of him pursuing a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree at the University of Zilina, although the start and end dates are not provided.
