Kara Hollis

Prior to joining M33, Kara worked at Vista Equity Partners in the firm’s Chicago office. While at Vista, she focused on investing in and working closely with enterprise software and data businesses. Kara’s passion for operations brought her to London where she worked at Finastra (formerly Misys), a global fintech business undergoing a merger with Toronto based company, DH Corp (TSE:DH). Kara joined Finastra as the Director of Strategic Programs where she worked on the integration of the two businesses, implementing new processes and best practices, and the launch of its Customer Success function. Kara’s past investment experience also includes: Active Network, Big Machines, DealerSocket, MRI Software, Lanyon, and Trintech.

Kara graduated with a Masters and Bachelors degree in Systems Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Her studies focused on systems design and optimization, entrepreneurship, and mathematics. In her spare time, Kara loves traveling and spending time with her friends and family in Boston.
