Sarwar Qureshi

Sarwar Qureshi, CPA, CA, LPA, serves as the Ottawa Chapter President for M&A Club Canada since September 2023. Sarwar has been a partner and principal at Paterson and Company since December 2014 and has been an accounting professor at Algonquin College since May 2011, teaching various courses in financial accounting, tax, and finance. Additionally, Sarwar officiated basketball at different levels for the Ottawa Valley Board of Approved Basketball Officials from 2003 until November 2023. Before these roles, Sarwar worked as a staff accountant at Ginsberg Gluzman Fage & Levitz, LLP from January 2008 to November 2014. Sarwar holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Ottawa, earned between 2004 and 2009.
