George Apps

George Apps is an Associate at Macfarlanes. George previously worked as a Vacation Student at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates from July 2014 to July 2014, where they sat in the Capital Markets team in the first week and the Litigation team in the second week. Their tasks included legal research into US Company Law, drafting a case analysis memo to send to clients, proofreading a counter memorial and cross referencing witness statements. George also worked as a Work Experience Student at Ashurst LLP from September 2013 to September 2013, where they sat in the Disputes Resolution team. Their tasks included legal research into long contracts of purchase of LPG and various drafting assignments concerning the duty of disclosure and legal privilege.

George Apps went to Abingdon School for their high school education and then went on to study law at the University of Cambridge.
