John Hoyos

John Hoyos has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. John recently worked as the Chief Operating Officer at MacguyverTech, where they were responsible for overseeing operations. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Business Development & Marketing at the same company. John also served as the Chief Operating Officer at MacNerd.

Before their roles at technology companies, John worked as a Consultant and owner at CiderLikeWine Consulting. John also gained journalistic experience as the Editor In Chief at Dealer News Today. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Specialty Brand Manager at Hunterdon Brewing Co and as a Beer Manager at Queen Anne Wine & Spirits.

John's early career included an internship as a Media Relations Intern at Newark Bears Baseball and a sales support position as a Sports Sales Planner at NATIONAL CABLE COMMUNICATIONS, LLC. John also worked as an Account Manager at SCC Distribution and an Account Executive at UNIVERSAL MICROELECTRONICS CO.,LTD.

John Hoyos earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from Rowan University between 1991 and 1995. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management at Seton Hall University from 2004 to 2007.
