Cristina S. is a data scientist with experience at Machine Learning Programs (MLP) since November 2022. Prior to this role, Cristina served as a PhD researcher at Nikhef from September 2017 to December 2022, specializing in Experimental Particle Physics within the LHCb collaboration at CERN, where research focused on measuring charmonia production rates. Cristina also held a position as a visiting PhD researcher at CERN during the same period, analyzing data from high-energy proton-proton collisions. In academia, Cristina worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Amsterdam for the "Advanced Electromagnetism and Special Relativity" course and at the University of Groningen for the "Waves and Optics" bachelor course. Cristina holds a PhD in Experimental Particle Physics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Groningen, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Valencia.
