Atu Mwangama

Atu Mwangama is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President and CFO at Mackay Communications, Inc. since November 2018, where responsibilities include accounting, international accounting, international tax, financial planning, budgeting, and financial analysis. Prior to this role, Atu worked at Alliance One International, Inc. from February 2003 to June 2018, initially as Tax Manager and later as International Tax Manager, focusing on domestic and international tax compliance, planning, and auditing. Atu gained foundational expertise in tax consultancy and audit assurance while working at PwC from September 1997 to January 2003, serving various multinational companies across multiple industries. Atu holds a Master of Accountancy from Gardner-Webb University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Dar es Salaam.
