Elizabeth Kutterer-Sanchez, AIA, is an Associate Principal and Architect at Mackey Mitchell Architects since June 2012, focusing on various types of Higher Education projects, including academic facilities, student housing, and nursing and allied health programs. Additionally, Elizabeth serves as Chairperson of the City of Columbia, IL Heritage and Preservation Commission and Vice Chairperson of the City of Columbia, IL Planning and Zoning Board, both positions appointed by the mayor since May 2013. Previous professional experiences include roles as Project Coordinator at ArcVision Incorporated, Facilities Planner at MEMC Electronic Materials, and Intern Architect/Project Manager at JMWA Architects, with key responsibilities in project management, construction documentation, and code research. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and possesses a strong background in both the public and private sectors of architecture.
