Pieter van Heerden

Pieter Van Heerden is a seasoned engineering professional with a focus on mechanical engineering, currently serving as Lead Engineer for Africa at MacLean Engineering since May 2019. Prior to this role, Pieter held the position of Lead R&D Design Engineer at AARD Mining Equipment from November 2011 to May 2019 and worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Lodox Systems between May 2009 and November 2011. Pieter began the career as a Junior Design Engineer at Henred Fruehauf from April 2006 to May 2009. Academic qualifications include a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Johannesburg obtained in 2009 and a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Vaal University of Technology, completed in 2005.
