Alicia Brady

Director, College Renewals & High School Customer Experience at Macmillan Learning

Alicia Brady has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Alicia started their career at Macmillan Learning in 2004 as a Publisher's Representative for Bedford, Freeman, & Worth Publishing Group, where they successfully managed accounts at various college campuses. Alicia then moved up within the company and held the positions of Senior Marketing Manager and Acquisitions Editor, focusing on physical and life sciences for W.H. Freeman & Company. During this time, they created and executed marketing campaigns for numerous titles and guided print and digital products through editorial development and production. Alicia then joined Blue Star Press as a Publisher, where they acquired, developed, and published art, lifestyle, creative how-to, and wellness books. Alicia oversaw all aspects of the publishing process and directly managed editorial, design, and production. Following their role at Blue Star Press, Alicia worked at The Boedeker Group as a Senior Project Manager and later as the Director of Business Development. Alicia excelled in harnessing customer feedback and turning it into valuable insights for product development and marketing strategy. Currently, Alicia is employed at Macmillan Learning as a Manager of Renewals and has recently been promoted to Associate Director of Business Renewals starting in 2023.

Alicia Brady attended the University of Portland from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. In February 2020, they also received a certification in Content Marketing from HubSpot.
