Xudong Jiang

Xudong Jiang is an experienced engineer and leader in the field of photonics and semiconductor technology. Currently serving as the Director of Design Engineering at MACOM since February 2021, Xudong leads a team focused on developing high-speed APDs and pin photodetectors. Previously, Xudong was the lead designer of Geiger-mode photodiode arrays at Argo, AI, where the design strategy for automotive Lidar applications was defined. Xudong's extensive background includes serving as the Director of Detector Technology at Princeton Lightwave, Inc., managing the R&D of InP based SPADs and LmAPDs, and leading engineering efforts on lasers at Multiplex, Inc. Additional research experience includes work at the University of Florida, Princeton University, and Harvard University, focusing on various advanced photodetector technologies and semiconductor properties. Xudong holds a degree from Peking University.
