Cornelis Versteegt

Corne Versteegt is a seasoned project manager and co-founder at Macomi since November 2014, where expertise lies in providing software solutions utilizing artificial intelligence, simulation, and optimization algorithms. Prior experience includes serving as Project Manager for Terminal Automation at Moffatt & Nichol and Project Manager for the Automated Horizontal Transport System at APM Terminals, focusing on advanced automated systems in the Port of Rotterdam. Corne also led the simulation team at Vanderlande Industries and held positions as a Senior Systems Engineer at NCIM-group and as a researcher at Delft University of Technology. Corne holds a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering and a Master's Degree in Systems Engineering and Logistics from Delft University of Technology.
