Mykola S.

Mykola S. has extensive work experience in various roles related to information security and engineering. Mykola currently serves as the Head of Information Security at MacPaw Inc., where they developed an information security strategy, obtained a SOC 2 Type I report, built a security team, and coordinated incident monitoring and response. Prior to that, they were the Security Engineering Manager at Ring Ukraine, where they created a corporate security program and participated in a global vulnerability management program. Mykola also worked as the Information Security Officer at DMarket, where they developed a corporate security roadmap and managed GDPR compliance. Mykola served as the Head of Security at Tonic Health, where they developed a corporate security strategy and managed risk, as well as a Security Engineer. Mykola held the position of System Engineer at EPAM Systems, where they maintained and deployed DEV/SIT/UAT/Pre-PROD environments. Mykola also worked as the Lead Security Engineer at JSC "Ukrainian Processing Center," where they deployed and supported various security systems. Mykola's early work experience includes being a Network Engineer at Barclays Investment Bank and a Security Engineer at JSC "Ukrainian Processing Center." Mykola started their career as the Head of Telecommunication Department and later as a System Engineer at System Integration Service.

Mykola S. obtained a Master's degree in Metalcutting equipment and systems from Ternopil State 'Ivan Pul'uj' Technical University, from 2003 to 2008. Additionally, from 2006 to 2007, they completed CCNA courses at the same university. In 2007 to 2008, they pursued a CCNP degree at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, specifically focusing on the Taras Shevchenko Cisco Networking Academy.

Apart from their educational degrees, Mykola also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they received an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification from Offensive Security. Mykola also obtained various badges, including the Capture-The-Flag Badge, Android Badge, PCAP badge, Yellow Badge, Blue Badge, Intercept Badge, Serialize Badge, and White Badge from PentesterLab. Furthermore, they completed multiple online courses, including DelftX: Secon101x Cyber Security Economics, Hardware Security, Cryptography, and several others from Coursera and edX platforms.
