Brendan Major

Brendan Major is an Analyst in Principal Finance at Macquarie Group since March 2023, following a role as an Analyst in Investment Banking at Grant Samuel from February 2022 to March 2023, where responsibilities included corporate and capital advisory. Prior experience includes serving as a Casual Academic at UQ Business School from January 2020 to February 2022, focusing on advanced investments and portfolio management, as well as being a Business School Research Assistant. Brendan also completed a Summer Finance and Strategy Internship at AirTrunk in early 2019. Brendan holds a Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics with Honours Class I from The University of Queensland (2018-2021) and has furthered education at institutions such as The London School of Economics and Political Science and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
