Jennifer Brown has a strong background in toxicology and preclinical development. Jennifer is currently the Director of Toxicology at MacroGenics, Inc. since March 2020, where they previously served as the Associate Director of Toxicology from June 2014 to March 2020. Before joining MacroGenics, Jennifer worked as a Regulatory Toxicology Consultant at Brown Preclinical Strategies from January 2013 to June 2014. Prior to that, they were the Director of Preclinical Development at YM BioSciences from March 2011 to May 2013. Jennifer also has experience as a Senior Study Director at MPI Research, where they were responsible for the technical conduct of various preclinical safety studies and played a key role in data analysis and reporting. Jennifer started their career as a Senior Manager of Preclinical Development at Viventia Biotech from 2004 to 2008.
Jennifer Brown earned a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Guelph, completing their studies from 1990 to 1996. Prior to that, they obtained their M.Sc. in Zoology from the University of Manitoba, studying from 1987 to 1990. Jennifer's undergraduate degree is a 4-year B.Sc. in Biology from The University of Winnipeg, which they earned from 1983 to 1987. In addition to their academic achievements, Jennifer received a Regulatory Affairs Certification (US) from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) in 2014.
