From February 2012 to April 2016, April worked as a Recruitment Advertising Sales Consultant at the Akron Beacon Journal/Ohio.com, contributing to an esteemed publication recognized for its Pulitzer Prizes. Prior experience includes an internship at Simon Property Group in early 2011, supporting marketing and sales efforts. April earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Organizational Communication with a double major in Public Relations and Business & Organizational Communication from The University of Akron between 2006 and 2011.
