Shaun Yeu

Shaun Yeu is the current Corporate Controller at MacStadium, a position they have held for 3 years and 2 months. Prior to joining MacStadium, Shaun was the Controller at InReality, LLC for 5 years and 3 months. In this role, they oversaw all financial activities for three offices across Hong Kong, Atlanta, and Cincinnati. This included payroll processing, preparation and review of journal entries, financial consolidation, account reconciliations, and monthly & quarterly financial reporting & variance analysis. Shaun was also responsible for financial planning & analysis, including budgets, forecasts and cash plannings. Shaun conducted internal expense audits & established internal controls processes, and worked extensively with functional stakeholders (Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, etc.) to provide operating recommendations through business understanding & financial analysis. At InReality, Shaun managed 2 staff accountants including one based in Hong Kong.

Prior to their role at InReality, Shaun was with Idera Software for 6 years and 9 months, where they served as both the Controller and Assistant controller. In these roles, they oversaw all day-to-day accounting activities for the company, including preparation and review of journal entries, accruals and prepaids, and cash management. Shaun also prepared monthly & quarterly financial reporting & variance analysis, financial statements in accordance with GAAP, and partnered with tax consultants to comply with local, state tax and federal tax filing requirements. Additionally, Shaun completed 4 M&A’s integrations & transitions, and associated purchase accountings while at Idera Software. Shaun also supported multiple systems integrations and transitioned the revenue accounting process with VSOE and software revenue recognition SOP 97-2. Shaun successfully integrated an acquired company’s accounting team with Idera’s accounting team and improved financial processes as a result. During their time at Idera Software, Shaun managed 2 staff accountants and 1 senior accountant, as well as a team of 4 contractors and multiple outsourced functions.

Shaun Yeu has a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin and a Masters in Accounting from the same school.
