Hugues BARLET has been working in the game design industry since 2013. Hugues began their career as an intern level designer and assistant game designer at Slak Games and later worked with Communication Graphique as an intern graphic designer. In 2014, they freelanced as a level designer at Darjeeling Production before joining as an intern level designer and assistant game designer. In 2015, Hugues worked as an intern level designer, project manager, and game designer on their personal game Kawiteros at Neko Entertainment. Hugues then co-founded Ultraflow SAS and worked as a game and level designer for Ultrflow 2 as well as designed the game's user interface. In 2016, Hugues worked as a game designer on Oh BiBi, designing the Motor World games, implementing live ops events, and creating new offers. In 2017, Hugues joined Gameloft as a game designer in its Game Lab division and worked until 2019. In 2019, they joined Voodoo.io as a senior game designer and later worked at Madbox as a senior game designer and game manager from 2020 to present.

Hugues BARLET attended Lycée for an unknown period and did not obtain a degree. In 2011, they began attending ICAN and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Game Design in 2014. From 2014 to 2016, Hugues furthered their education at Supinfogame where they obtained a Master's Degree in Game Design/Management.
