Rishi Ramgolam

Senior Software Engineering Consultant at Made Tech

Rishi Ramgolam has extensive work experience in various roles within the software engineering and user experience fields. Rishi is currently a Senior Software Engineering Consultant at Made Tech, where they help public sector leaders modernize legacy applications and accelerate digital service delivery. Previously, Rishi worked as a Senior Programmer at Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute, leading the development of clinical analysis pipelines and the flagship Clinical Trial program. Rishi also has experience as a User Experience Designer at Atmos International, where they handled UX-related work in the oil and gas industry. Additionally, Rishi has worked as a Research Associate at The University of Manchester, developing sequence visualization tools, and as a Senior Software Engineer and Lead Designer at AQnowledge, contributing to the Open PHACTS project. Rishi began their career as a Software Engineer at The University of Manchester, focusing on biomedical ontology and e-Science.

Rishi Ramgolam began their education at Wakeman School from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained 9 A* - C GCSEs. Rishi then attended Shrewsbury Sixth Form College from 2001 to 2003, focusing on A-Levels in Computing, Mathematics, Physics, and AS level Chemistry. After completing their A-Levels, Rishi joined the University of Nottingham from 2003 to 2006. There, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Computer Science. Following their Bachelor's degree, Rishi pursued further studies at the University of Nottingham from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Interactive Systems Design.
