Denise Mitchell

Denise Mitchell has over fifteen years of experience in accounting and financial roles. In 2007, they began their career as a Senior Accountant at SWCA Environmental Consultants, where they completed general ledger accounting functions and had the lead role on all audits. In 2012, they joined Terros as a Senior Accountant and supervised the general ledger accounting and oversaw the daily operations of the AP staff and staff accountants. Later that year, Denise became the Chief Financial Officer at Treatment Assessment Screening Center (TASC), where they were responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the financial records, preparing monthly financial statements, and maintaining cash controls and treasury relationships. In 2017, Denise co-owned Investment Painting Services. In 2018, they were an Assistant Controller at Desert Botanical Garden. Since 2019, Denise has been the Controller at OpenWorks | Facility Services, and they are currently the Controller at MadeToOrder, Inc.

Denise Mitchell completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Grand Canyon University from 2016 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed 30 hours of upper division accounting course work at Western International University from 2007 to 2010. Denise Mitchell also earned a Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 1995 to 1999.
