Michael Lashua P.E. is an experienced professional in the field of electrical engineering, currently serving as the Manager of Substation Engineering at Madison Gas and Electric since June 2004. In this role, Michael oversees and directs all engineering efforts related to substations. Previously, Michael held positions as Supervisor of Substation Maintenance and Senior Engineer in Substation Engineering, focusing on the construction, commissioning, and maintenance of electric substations ranging from 4kV to 345kV, as well as the design and commissioning of SCADA systems. Michael also gained experience as an Instrumentation and Controls Analyst Intern at Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant from July 2002 to March 2003. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completed in 2004.
