Sophie Conklin

Sophie Conklin is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as a Sexual Assault and Intimate Partner Violence Group Counselor at Madison Mental Health Services since August 2022, where Sophie created and facilitated a support group for survivors. In addition, Sophie provides client-centered therapy to youths and adults seeking to improve their mental health. Previous roles include working as an ArtWorking Staff Member, supporting individuals with traumatic brain injuries and disabilities in the arts, a Research Lab Assistant at Penn State University focusing on the impact of nature on mental health, and as a Centre Safe Advocate, assisting survivors of trauma through advocacy and support. Sophie holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Penn State University.
