Abigail Ryan

Abigail Ryan is a seasoned community engagement librarian at Madison Public Library, where responsibilities have included leading all-ages reference services and acting as the primary contact for adults seeking children's resources. With a background in youth services, Abigail has experience coordinating programs across multiple library locations and has previously held roles such as events coordinator at Borders and clarinet instructor. Additional roles include teaching artist for the Madison Creative Arts Program and chamber music coach for Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras. Abigail holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance from St. Olaf College.
