Ramon Stern currently serves as an Independent Translator for the Dane County Department of Human Services and as a Bilingual Outreach Specialist with Madison School & Community Recreation, focusing on outreach and language access for Spanish speakers and the Latinx community in Madison, WI. Since July 2015, Ramon has worked as a Freelance Translator, translating various texts across Spanish, Portuguese, and English. Ramon's experience also includes roles as a Seasonal and Adjunct Admissions Reader at Brown University, a Fulbright Scholar researching Moroccan Jewish immigration to the Amazon, a Medical Interpreter with Miami Valley Interpreters, and a Translation Project Specialist at Dorcas International Institute of Rhode Island. Ramon holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature from Brown University.
