Camila Sanchez Tejada

Camila Sanchez Tejada is an experienced professional with a background in program support and translation services. Currently serving as a Grants Associate at MADRE since November 2024, Camila previously worked as a Freelance Translator for Hispana Unida and as a Program Specialist in Health at Futures Without Violence, where responsibilities included collaborating with partners on resources for community clinics addressing domestic violence. Camila also held the role of Program Assistant for Health Partners on IPV + Exploitation, organizing peer learning opportunities. Earlier experience includes positions at The Women's Building, the City and County of San Francisco as a Women's Gender Responsive Fellow, and as a Barista at Starbucks. Camila holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Francisco State University.
