Jenny Liu is the Group Media Director at Madwell. Jenny has over seven years of experience in the media industry, with a focus on integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, outdoor, and broadcast platforms.
Liu began their career as a Media Planner at mcgarrybowen in 2010, where they worked on accounts such as Northrop Grumman and Sharp Electronics. In 2011, mcgarrybowen was named Ad Age and Adweek's Agency of the Year.
In 2013, Jenny Liu transferred to Maxus, where they worked as a Media Planner until 2014. During their time at Maxus, Jenny Liu worked on accounts such as Bausch + Lomb (Valeant), American Frozen Food Institute, and Gamesys.
Liu is experienced in analytics and research, and is proficient in Comscore, Simmons, SRDS, MRI, Nielsen, and Mendelssohn research tools. Jenny is also experienced in management, and has supervised and trained assistants and interns, and coordinated team activities.
Some of Jenny Liu's notable achievements include leading a campaign in partnership with a major national publisher to pitch, plan, and execute a 360 program that included events, digital, and print components; successfully driving mobile and social discussion with clients, culminating in the company's first mobile campaign; and being promoted from Assistant planner to Media Planner in 2012.
Jenny Liu has a BA in Economics and Asian Studies from Boston College, an SCPS in Mobile Marketing and App Development from New York University, and a year abroad in Japanese from Sophia University. Jenny also has a specialized H.S. diploma in Math and Science from Stuyvesant High School.
