Alisha Lalani has worked in a variety of roles across multiple organizations. In 2021, they were appointed as the Head of Growth at Mae. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President, Business Strategy at Magellan Health (2019), Director, Partner Success and Director, Strategy at Evolent Health (2017), Director, Optum Health and Chief of Staff, Optum Government Solutions at UnitedHealth Group (2014), Research Consultant at The Lewin Group (2013), Research Assistant - Division of Global Health at University of California, San Diego (2012), and Consultant at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (2012) and Program Development Fellow at Aga Khan Foundation U.S.A. (2010).

Alisha Lalani obtained a Master's Degree in Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from Emory University between 2006 and 2010.
