Lead Of Content Marketing Strategy at Mae

Lydia Harris has a diverse work experience in various industries. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Sales Cashier at ARMY & AIRFORCE EXCHANGE SERVICE - AAFES until 2017. In 2017, they interned at The National Society of Leadership and Success and also joined Best Buy as a Merchandise Associate until 2019. During this time, they also worked as a Waitress at Wild Rosemary Bistro from 2018 to 2019. In 2018, they interned at College Works Painting. From 2019 to 2020, Lydia founded their own organization, Labor With Love. Lydia then worked as a Social Media Manager at the National Black Doula Association from 2021 to 2022, creating engaging content and strategizing marketing campaigns. In 2022, they joined the Community of Hope as a Perinatal Care Coordination Specialist until 2023. Currently, Lydia works at Mae as a Content Marketing Strategy Lead, starting in June 2023. Additionally, in 2022, they served as a Doula Trainer at the Black Women's Health Imperative, educating a cohort of students in preconception, birth, and postpartum curriculum and mentoring a subgroup of the cohort.

Lydia Harris completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at the University of Pittsburgh from 2016 to 2020. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a specialization in Leadership in Practice at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, starting from 2021 and expected to graduate in 2023.
