Daphne Lai

Daphne Lai is a seasoned operations expert with extensive experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. Currently serving as the General Manager of Operations Excellence at A.P. Moller - Maersk since July 2019, Daphne leads solutions design for large projects across the APAC region and focuses on promoting operational efficiencies through re-engineering and advanced technologies. Prior to this role, Daphne was the Head of Solutions at DHL, driving strategic initiatives and overseeing solution design in Hong Kong and Macau. Daphne's earlier experience at Ryder System, Inc. includes positions as Senior Engineering and Operations Manager and Senior Logistics Engineer, where Daphne contributed to business development and continuous improvement initiatives. Daphne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
