Miroslav Harjaček

Miroslav Harjaček is a seasoned medical professional specializing in pediatrics and rheumatology, currently serving as the Head of the Department of Rheumatology at Children's Hospital Srebrnjak since August 2024. Holding the position of Professor of Pediatrics at United Arab Emirates University since August 2020, Miroslav also contributes as a Medical Consultant at Mediclinic Al Jawhara Hospital and as a Consultant in Pediatric Rheumatology at Tawam Hospital. As the Founder and CEO of Intellimed d.o.o. since January 2014, Miroslav has a strong entrepreneurial background in healthcare. Previously, Miroslav held notable roles including Co-Director of the Medical Simulation & Clinical Skills Center at UAEU-CHMS and Head of the Department of Pediatrics at Clinical Hospital Centre Sestre Milosrdnice. Miroslav's medical journey began with an MD from Medical School Zagreb, completed between 1982 and 1986, and has continued to evolve since serving as an Attending at Children's Hospital Zagreb-Klaićeva from 1999 to 2007.
