Simone Savastano

Simone Savastano is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the power generation sector, currently serving as Sales Director at Magaldi Power S.p.A. since March 2003. With a focus on international markets, Simone has coordinated sales activities in regions including Turkey, Mexico, South Africa, Mongolia, China, and India, while also offering expertise in international contracting practices for power plants. In June 2016, Simone assumed the role of Sales Director for the STEM Business Unit, driving market development for innovative Thermal Energy Storage technology, and previously led efforts to introduce a new Concentrated Solar Power technology. Prior experience includes Project Manager at Magaldi Ricerche e Brevetti and roles in sales management at Alenia Aeronautica. Educational credentials include a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Glasgow and a Laurea Quinquennale in Ingegneria Meccanica from Università degli Studi di Cagliari.
