Miguel Martins

Miguel Martins has a diverse range of work experience spanning different industries and roles. Miguel is currently working at Magazino GmbH as a Lead Mechanical Engineer, where they coordinate the development efforts within the mechanical team. Their responsibilities include refining mechanical engineering work, administration of PDM and SolidWorks systems, and ensuring adherence to engineering guidelines.

Prior to their current role, Miguel worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Magazino GmbH. Miguel has also held positions at General Servei S.A., where they served as an R&D lead engineer and later as a Project Manager. In these roles, they developed prototypes, redesigned existing machines, and oversaw the planning and completion of new co-packing centers.

Earlier in their career, Miguel worked at Chocolateria San Churro, starting as a waiter and progressing to the roles of Line Cook and Store Manager. Miguel was responsible for greeting and serving customers, completing food prepping tasks, and overseeing daily operations.

Miguel also gained experience as an Application Technology Engineer at Sonoma Trade, C.A., where they worked on various projects related to application technology. Additionally, they interned at Dupont Performance Coatings de Venezuela, C.A. and Air Gomez, C.A., where they gained exposure to fluid power systems, equipment maintenance, and other technical tasks.

Miguel's earliest work experience was as a Mechanic Assistant at Tecni-Servicios La Michelena III, C.A. Here, they provided support as part of a mechanical team from 2006 to 2011.

Miguel Martins began their education at Universidad de Carabobo from 2007 to 2013, where they obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2015, they attended North Metropolitan TAFE and completed a program in General English and English for Academic Purposes, focusing on English Language and Literature. Miguel then pursued further studies in engineering, completing a Diploma of engineering - Technical at South Metropolitan TAFE in 2016, with a specialization in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Manufacturing, and Maintenance Engineering. In 2017, they enrolled in the Advance Diploma of Engineering program at South Metropolitan TAFE, further enhancing their skills in the same field.

In addition to their formal education, Miguel has attained additional certifications. In July 2019, they completed the Advanced Training in UR Robot Arms offered by Universal Robots A/S. Furthermore, in January 2019, they successfully obtained a Driving License for Motorcycles and Cars from Dirección General de Tráfico.
