Serdar Hakan Argüz

Serdar Hakan Argüz has a diverse range of work experience in the field of robotics. Serdar Hakan is currently working as a Robotics Software Engineer at Magazino GmbH, a position they started in January 2023.

Prior to that, they were a Research Assistant at Izmir University of Economics from February 2020 to January 2023. During their time there, they focused on various aspects of robotics, including robot programming by demonstration, generalization of a peg-in-hole task, and non-linear model identification. Serdar Hakan also gained knowledge in robotics subjects such as the Robot Operating System, autonomous robotics, system dynamics and control, microcontrollers, and mechatronic system design.

Before their role at Izmir University of Economics, Serdar Hakan Argüz served as a Summer Intern and MSc. Student at Izmir Institute of Technology from June 2019 to December 2019. During this internship, they developed control software for a remote-controlled mobile rover robot and implemented differential drive using velocity-controlled servo motors. Serdar Hakan also built a prototype using load cells and STM32F103 to detect rotating imbalances.

Serdar Hakan Argüz completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Izmir Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2019. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Izmir Institute of Technology, completing it from 2019 to 2022.
