Tommy Dang

Tommy Dang is the Co-Founder and CEO at Mage. Tommy was previously a software engineer at Airbnb from August 2015 to November 2020, during which time they built data tools and machine learning tools, low-code internal tools for developers, data products and machine learning models for new Experiences business vertical, and apps for Business Travel. Prior to that, they were the co-founder, Head of Product & Engineering at OnMyBlock, Inc. from July 2013 to June 2015, where they helped students find off-campus housing and led the product and infrastructure engineering teams. Tommy built the company from a 2 person operation to over 30 employees. They raised ~$6m in funding from Seed Round to Series A. They shut down the company in June 2015 and returned more than half of what they raised back to investors. Tommy was a software engineer at Millennium Health from February 2012 to June 2013 and at FlashingDeals from January 2011 to January 2012.

Tommy Dang received a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Tommy'story, and Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.
