Georg Heiler

Georg Heiler is a researcher at Complexity Science Hub Vienna since January 2019, currently pursuing a Ph.D. alongside a senior data scientist role at Magenta Telekom since August 2016, focusing on big data and fraud detection. Georg contributes as a deputy treasurer on the board of the Vienna Data Science Group since June 2017 and has experience as a tutor in Business Engineering and Explorative Data Analysis at Vienna University of Technology from 2014 to 2017. Georg founded the fintech startup predictR, which provides innovative online banking features, and has held various internships and roles across companies including Allianz SE and ConVista Faktor Zehn GmbH. Georg holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics from Technische Universität Wien and is completing master's degrees in Business Informatics at both Technische Universität Wien and WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
