Alessandro Pecoraro

Alessandro Pecoraro is a highly experienced software engineer specializing in graphics and rendering, currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Magic Leap since June 2019. Alessandro leads the Rendering Team and has contributed to various projects, including segmented dimmer R&D, OpenXR runtime conformance, and real-time ultra low-latency streaming of XR content. Prior to this role, Alessandro held senior engineering positions focusing on remote rendering, social and collaboration platforms, and digital health applications utilizing AR technologies. As a co-founder of Cozily, Alessandro developed a chat and audio/video call platform for online therapy, and has also contributed to various interactive software projects through freelance and co-founder roles in companies such as Binario Srl and Dev4Side. Alessandro holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Università degli Studi di Milano.
