Lakenya Johnson

LaKenya Johnson has extensive work experience in talent acquisition and human resources. LaKenya started their career as a Department Manager at Sears Hardware in 1998 and later worked as a Merchandise Trainee at QVC, Inc. In 2001, LaKenya joined First Congregational Church as an Office Administrator. LaKenya then worked as an Admission/Billing Coordinator at PharMerica Pharmacy in 2005. LaKenya joined Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. in 2006, where they held roles in Human Resources and Vendor Management, and was responsible for talent acquisition, policy compliance, and managing various vendors. From 2008 to 2015, they focused on corporate relocation services, managing a multimillion-dollar budget. In 2016, LaKenya worked as a Talent Acquisition Recruiter (Consulting/Contract) at Crocs, Inc. LaKenya then joined Magic Memories as a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager in 2016 and was promoted to Director Talent Acquisition/Partners, North America in 2017.

LaKenya Johnson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix, from the years 2009 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Avon Grove High School West, where they received a College Preparatory diploma from 1993 to 1997.

In addition, LaKenya Johnson has obtained certifications in Professional Recruiter and Certified Diversity Recruiter from AIRS in the years 2012 and 2011 respectively.
