Michael Roby

Michael Roby is a Partner Patent Attorney at Maginot, Moore & Beck LLP, where responsibilities include preparing and prosecuting patent applications across various technology sectors such as machine learning, augmented reality, and blockchain. Roby began at the firm as a Summer Associate and previously gained experience as a Patent Examining Extern at the USPTO, conducting prior art searches and drafting office actions. Early career experience includes internships as a Software Engineer at Next Wave Systems, developing software for maritime cameras and automating system configurations, along with summer work at SAIC focused on system assembly and design review. Michael holds a J.D. from UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law and a B.S.E.E. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
