Bernardo Concia has worked in various engineering roles since 2014. In 2016, they were a Collaborator at Aerial Transport Group (GTA-UNLP), providing technical assistance for the development of a statistical risk model and researching GBAS system, characterization, limitations and siting possibilities. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Technical Assistantship at CICARÉ, where they participated in the design of the structure and systems of a two-seats ultralight helicopter, modeled and tested the main and auxiliary structures, and presented initial results and documentation for the pre-certification of the helicopter to the Argentine’s National Administration of Civil Aviation. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Teaching Assistant and a Graduate Research Assistant at Universidad Nacional de La Plata, where they were a member of the group of dynamics, guidance, navigation and control and worked on projects involving visual navigation and data fusion for UAV and control allocation for a lifting body re-entry vehicle. In 2019, they began working as a Control & Dynamics Lead and Project Engineer at Maglev Aero, and in 2020 they began working as a Project Engineer at INDU Company. Bernardo also worked as a Product Development Engineer at Identity Projects from 2017 to 2019.
Bernardo Concia obtained their Aeronautical Engineering degree from Universidad Nacional de La Plata in 2016. Bernardo then obtained a Machine Learning certification from Coursera Course Certificates in November 2017. In 2019, they began their studies at Northeastern University and obtained their MS Electrical and Computer Engineering Leadership degree as well as an Engineering Leadership - MS ECEL degree from The Gordon Institute of Engineering Leadership at Northeastern University in 2021.
