Rafael M Acevedo Daunas

Rafael M Acevedo Daunas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental engineering, sustainable transport, and urban planning. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Thread Analytica LLC since February 2019, Rafael leads a team of multi-disciplinary specialists in consulting services focused on climate change and environmental management. As a shareholder at MAGMENT concrete wireless power since July 2018, Rafael is involved in developing innovative wireless charging solutions for public transportation and electric vehicles. Prior experience includes over 16 years as Lead Environmental and Transportation Specialist at the Inter American Development Bank, where Rafael oversaw infrastructure project loans across Latin America. Additional roles include being an Environmental Specialist at Envirolinks International Services and a Partner at Ambiotec Ltda, alongside early career experience at the Ministerio de Salud. Rafael holds an M.Sc. in Environmental and Water Resources from Vanderbilt University and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
