Mayasa Jasim

Mayasa Jasim has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Mayasa is currently the Managing Director - Head of Value Creation & Government Initiatives at Magnati, where they have been since August 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Executive Director - Government Solutions Products at Magnati's Payments subsidiary, FAB, starting in April 2021.

Before joining Magnati, Mayasa worked at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) as Vice President, Products & Projects - Government Solutions from May 2017 onwards. Previous to that, they worked at the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, where they held the positions of Acting Senior Manager- Product Development from November 2016 to May 2017, and Business Support Manager - Government Solutions from May 2013 to November 2016.

Mayasa also has experience in the technology and engineering fields. Mayasa worked at KPMG UAE as an IT Advisory/Consultancy from January 2012 to May 2013. Prior to this, they worked at SAPIENCE Engineering as a Control System Engineer and Coordinator from June 2010 to January 2012.

Earlier in their career, Mayasa worked at ADCO as a Technical Writer from November 2009 to February 2010, and at MOX Middle East LLC as a Control Systems Engineer from April 2008 to November 2009.

Mayasa's career began at Station General Contracting Co., where they held the role of IT System Analyst/Office Coordinator from September 2007 to April 2008.

Mayasa Jasim obtained a BEng degree in Electronic Engineering Systems from King's College London between 2004 and 2007. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications including Prince 2 Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice in July 2017, Quality Management Systems (QMS) Auditor/Lead Auditor - ISO 9001 from TÜV Rheinland Akademie GmbH in February 2013, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification.
