Michael de Jong

Michael de Jong has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Michael started their career in 2005 as a co-founder of Digital Leap, where they designed and built websites for small businesses. In 2007, they joined TOPdesk as a software developer, collaborating with teams across multiple countries to develop new features and ensure product quality. Michael then worked at TU Delft as a student assistant, providing support for a software quality and testing course. In 2012, they became a prototype developer at TU Delft, followed by a role as a software engineer at Magnet.me, where they contributed to improving graduate recruitment through an online platform. In 2013, they also became the owner of Polycorp. Michael's work experience showcases their expertise in software development, testing methodologies, and project management.

Michael de Jong completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from Delft University of Technology, from 2006 to 2012. In addition, in 2011, at Technische Universiteit Delft, they pursued a minor in Technology-based Entrepreneurship, focusing on technische informatica, computertechniek, and technische computerkunde. Michael furthered their education by obtaining a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Technische Universiteit Delft, where they studied from 2012 to 2015.
