Michael de Jong has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Michael started their career in 2005 as a co-founder of Digital Leap, where they designed and built websites for small businesses. In 2007, they joined TOPdesk as a software developer, collaborating with teams across multiple countries to develop new features and ensure product quality. Michael then worked at TU Delft as a student assistant, providing support for a software quality and testing course. In 2012, they became a prototype developer at TU Delft, followed by a role as a software engineer at Magnet.me, where they contributed to improving graduate recruitment through an online platform.
