Michael Turro

Michael Turro is the Chief Compliance Officer at Magnetar Capital.

Prior to joining Magnetar in 2005, Michael served as Director of Equity Business Management for UBS AG from 1997 until 2004. Prior to his role in business management, he served as a compliance officer for UBS AG from 1993 until 1997. Michael has over twenty years of financial and regulatory compliance experience, including six years as a compliance supervisor at National Futures Association.

Michael earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance, Management and Organizational Behavior from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Public Accounting at Loyola University Chicago. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
