Jean-Laurent Petel

Jean-Laurent Petel has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jean-Laurent began their career as a Junior Associate at EY in July 2004 and worked there until September 2006. Following that, they joined Grant-Thornton France as a Senior Auditor from September 2006 to December 2008. Jean-Laurent then worked as a Senior Audit Manager at Constantin Associates, LLP from January 2009 to March 2018. Afterward, they joined Havas Media Group as the SVP Director of Corporate Finance from March 2018 to September 2020. Subsequently, they served as a Partner in International Business Services at Primexis from September 2020 to January 2022. Currently, Jean-Laurent Petel holds the position of VP of Finance Transformation at Magnit, starting in June 2022.

Jean-Laurent Petel completed a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance (DESCF) from ENOES: l'Ecole de l'Expertise Comptable et de l'Audit in the years 1998 to 2003. In 2003 and 2004, they obtained a Specialized Master's degree in Corporate Tax Management (Expert en Gestion Fiscale de l’Entreprise) from SKEMA Business School. In 2014, they became an Expert-comptable (French CPA) after completing their studies at Conseil de l'Ordre des Experts-Comptables. In addition to their formal education, Jean-Laurent Petel obtained a Data Analytics Certificate from Cornell University in the year 2020.
